'Bargains available' for property buyers

There are currently a number of bargains to be found by first-time
buyers, according to the professional body for estate agency.
In a statement released on Thursday, the National Association of
Estate Agents (NAEA) revealed first-time buyer confidence has
returned to the market.
People searching for their first homes believe they can purchase
property now and benefit from their investment when the value of
their bricks and mortar starts going up again in the future, the
NAEA revealed.
Commenting further, the group said: "Responsibility is now the key
to market success. The major lenders must be responsible rather
than draconian with their lending."
The NAEA's comments come on the back of the latest figures from the
Council of Mortgage Lenders, which showed that house purchase
lending in March was up on the figure for February and accounted
for 35 per cent of all home loan lending during the month.
