New properties 'may be created in Gloucestershire'

People seeking property for sale in Gloucestershire may welcome news
that more homes may be created in the county.
According to a report on Thisisgloucestershire, the village of
Brockworth could see over 200 residences created within it.
Invista, which is a global company with operations in more than 20
countries, wants to develop and sell land next to buildings it owns
in the area.
Site manager Stephen Johnston remarked: "Invista believes that the
surplus land around the Gloucester site could be used in a more
valuable way if it were developed and sold."
He added that the "valuable land development" being planned by the
firm will contribute towards the success of the local
community.
During an event held in the village last month, residents were
shown copies of the proposals.
In addition to the new real estate, Invista's proposals may include
a number of sports facilities and ponds designed to alleviate
flooding risks.
